Hey you guys, hope your day is going lovely. Now that you have taken a peek into this room, are you finally ready to take the full tour? I totally am ready to show this beautiful space to you. This is where, my sister, the name behind the Islamabad based Waliya Najib photography gets all her ideas and where so many of those beautiful pictures are taken. Come right in!
The blue wall that Waliya fought for, because she couldn’t find the exact shade of blue that she wanted! and Muffin, the grey eyed deaf Persian cat, that shares this room with Waliya. He was a gift from our daddy.
Waliya was Papa’s baby and possibly his favorite among us. And this girl misses him more than anyone can possibly imagine. It is evident in the various memories of him spread all around this room.
The antique chest that holds pictures from our parents childhoods to ours. This box belonged to our great grandfather from our mother’s side and my mom got it painted and redone.
The by-now famous ‘wall of fame’ picture wall that holds hundreds of pictures and memories.
(left) Muffin’s favorite ‘people watching’ spot. (right) with Papa’s Callaway golf kit that she keeps in her room.
Waliya’s DIY heart cushion cover, made with her niece's newborn flannel blanket (Anya’s).
I helped Waliya put up this happy little art wall.
And this pretty much is it. Beautiful right? Please remember my sister and our family in your prayers.
Hope you enjoyed this room tour. And thank you so much for stopping by.
